Well we are back in the routine of things. Gloria was released from the hospital last Monday and was able to leave the house yesterday for the first time. Louis is continuing his daily radiation treatment and this week is also a chemo week. He will have a break from the chemo next week.
April 2nd should be Louis' last radiation treatment. He is beginning to experience many of the side effects that he was warned about. Swallowing has become really difficult and painful. But we are grateful that the nausea has been minimal and the medication works well.
Please continue to pray for his saliva glands to continue working. Also pray for relief from the pain in his throat and for him to be able to sleep and get rest.
Your prayers make a huge difference! As we see others fighting this same battle, we know that we are so blessed to have friends and family that keep us covered in prayer.
